CLOSINGS FOR 2024-2025
New term starts on Thursday, 29th August 2024 for all children.
We close for the main holidays as per the Department guidelines.
October 2nd – Primary Maths Curriculum Inservice Training for all staff.
Hallowe’en: we shall close from Monday 28th October to Friday 1st November 2024 inclusive.
Christmas 2024: we shall close on Friday 20th December 2024 at 12 noon and re-open on Monday 6th January 2025.
Imbolc/St Brigid’s Bank Holiday: Monday, 3rd February 2025
February 2025 mid-term break: we shall close on Thursday 20th and Friday 21st February 2025 unless changes are required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures ie snow/bad weather.
St Patrick’s Day: Monday, 17th March
Easter 2025: we shall close on Friday 11th April 2025 at 12 noon and re-open on Monday 28th April 2025 (unless changes are required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures ie snow/bad weather).
May Bank Holiday: Monday, 5th May 2025
**June Bank Holiday: We shall close for a long weekend instead of the full week. In addition to Monday, 2nd June (bank holiday), we shall also close on Friday, 30th May and Tuesday, 3rd June 2025.
End of term: we shall close at 12 noon on Wednesday, 25th June.
