Baile an Chuilinn N.S. - Ballinkillen N.S.- is a vibrant, progressive, rural school located near Mount Leinster, offering beautiful views of the Blackstairs Mountains. Founded in 1810, we are the oldest school in Ireland operating in its original premises. Our rural, Catholic co-educational school welcomes families of all religions and none, under the patronage of the Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin.
We have six mainstream classes, two SET teachers - one shared, an Additional Needs Assistant (ANA), and a secretary, with 126 children currently enrolled. We have strong ties to our local community, with active involvement from parents and residents.
