Our Monster March takes place every October on the day we close for the Hallowe'en break. It is a much celebrated event in our local community. Pupils dress up in their favourite costumes, as do several of our staff too! There is no pressure on anyone to take part – it is just for fun.The arrival of pupils to school is a sight to behold as all sorts of magnificent creations make their way from all corners of our community! The girls and boys, and mams and dads and any family member who can help, go to extraordinary lengths to create unique, fun and weird and wonderful costumes.
The whole school sets off on the Monster March together.We go for a nice walk around the local pitch, much to the delight of our families. Parents, family members and even family pets line the route, cheering us on.
Our Monster March is a much-loved, fun event in our school, with the added bonus of raising funds for important school projects.
